I up graded to the new version of itunes the other day, but today tried to use
TVersity to stream my itunes podcasts from the home PC through Xbox360 so that I could watch them on the big screen, there was a problem.
TVersity wasn't showing the new podcasts that I just downloaded to watch. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong. At first I thought
TVersity wasn't refreshing the folder info, so I put new stuff into the folder it could see; it saw them. Just not the podcasts folders, so I looked into the podcast folders and none of the new stuff I just DL'd were there.
I look into the iTunes preferences, nothing has changed from the settings I always use. The new vids I just DL'd are visible in the all podcast window in iTunes. So I right click on a newly DL'd podcast to see where it was located. Low and behold iTunes created a new sub folder called "Download" in the iTunes folder and put the podcast folder into it, giving each individual file it's own folder instead of the old way of having a folder just for that podcast and putting the new files into it.

This really screws up how
TVersity sees the podcast folder. Instead of a few folders for each netcast that I subscribe to with all the shows in the same folder (all
TNT shows in one folder) each update to a podcast has it's own folder! I know it's just one extra click on the remote but trying to scan the menu for the one show I want to watch is that more time consuming. Annoying!
Is there away to change this?
